Former agricultural airfield in a beautiful place, 12 km South of Sigulda. Thanks to its good condition and lack of obstacles, this is one of the rare 400m-airfields, that is being occasionally used by GA traffic. Still under uncertified status, however there have been intentions to certify it, even some basic runway markings have been painted. 23.10.2012: WARNING: Masts (~10-15m high) have been erected ~50m from THR RWY36 on the RWY centerline restricting landings on RWY36 and takeoffs RWY18. Sand piles on the runway. Do not attempt to land!!! Airfield can not be used for takeoffs and landings.
