Former agricultural airfield in a very beautiful place near Madona town. Clean and well kept it is occasionally used by general aviation traffic. Asphalted runway, taxiways and apron are in a good condition. Since Prauliena airfield is located in a valley surrounded by forests it is difficult to spot from a distance. However, it is easier to find it visually if you overfly Madona and proceed to the East (heading 090).
