Former agricultural airfield located in industrial area north of Saldus town. Runway and aprons are in an rather bad condition; there are obstacles on approach. Runway is slightly humped: midpoint is approx 6ft higher than endpoints. Airfield was prepared for use during the Saldus aviation festival in 2017. Damaged asphalt was patched with gravel. Runway was used by An-2 aircraft. WARNING: airfield is currently not usable due to tires on the runway

Approach: Forest 350m from THR RWY25; small forest and electricity line (SW-NE) 500m from THR RWY07 - can be avoided by shifting the approach trajectory slightly to the south. Beware of roads at the both ends of the RWY, there may be traffic.

Airfield: Runway asphalt surface is damaged, especially at THR RWY07. Damages have been patched with gravel. Small stones on the RWY. WARNING: tires on the RWY.
